Team France: a valid package? Nasri takes charge of the staff for Benzema – Calcio

In the aftermath of Karim Benzema’s package for the 2022 World Cup, the former French international Samir Nasri has focused on the management of the attacker by the Italian staff.

Nasri believes the Benzema case could have been handled better.

He’s not even accelerating or on strike… (…) unfortunately it can happen that you have a problem, get injured. (…) It is not a relapse.

Present this Sunday on the set of Tlfoot, the France coach, Didier Deschamps, tried to crush any controversy over Karim Benzema’s package for the 2022 World Cup (see here).

Nasri wanted to preserve Benzema

Homeless for several weeks, the Real Madrid striker was forced to sit out after injuring his left thigh on Saturday for his return to group training. While the technician ensures that the process for the resumption of the recent Ballon d’Or was under control and indicates a certain fatality, his arguments did not convince former French international Samir Nasri. A member of the famous 1987 generation, like KB9, the Canal+ consultant suspects that the Blues leadership wanted to hasten the recovery of the merengue. According to him, perhaps it would have been wiser to save the former Lyon during the entire group stage.

A bad management ?

Marabout, I don’t know. Anyway, I took him yesterday, he was angry but I think the management was very bad to him dropped the former Gunner. He is a special player who requires special attention. We didn’t necessarily need Benzema for Australia, Tunisia and Denmark. He’s a level-up player and so we needed him for knockout matches. I find that really harmful. It wasn’t necessary to push him, he’s a player, last season, who played almost 60 games, it’s normal that he feels a little tired, he’s 34 years old. So I don’t think it was necessary to push for this start of the competition.

Did the medical and technical staff of the world champions really pull strings with the forward? Or rather, did he give too much importance to the feelings of Madrid, who had made this World Cup an important goal and that he was ready to do anything to participate in it, even at the cost of listening less to the signals sent by his body? For now, many questions remain unanswered…
